Fast-750 Radar Speed Trailer

One of two “cross-over” trailer platforms, the Fast-750’s height makes up a bit for the limitations inherent in a 12” character display. Our rule of thumb is that a 12” character sign is appropriate for posted speeds of up to 30, sometimes 35 MPH. With the Fast-750 you can stretch that a bit, perhaps up to 45 MPH, depending on the situation. We would not recommend a steady diet of that but, it can be done. What the Fast-750 is perfect for is middle school and high school zones where speeds tend to be a bit higher, corporate campuses, hilly terrain due to its height. The 750 makes a great platform for our Event Triggered Video Radar (ETVR) platform. And again, it’s perfectly suited to residential work.

The RU2 Fast 750 Radar Speed Display Trailer has a 12” LED display that stands 7 feet tall when raised into operating position. The display is raised and lowered with an electric actuator for an effortless setup. Easily towed and placed into position, this trailer is ideal for neighborhood streets where speeding is a problem. The sign typically runs five to eight days before charging is necessary. Optional equipment includes the data acquisition package, solar panel, an alarm system and trailer cover.
