The SpeedBoss™ captures the features you need in a remarkably affordable package; a bright 12" tall amber AlInGaP LED character display raised to a reasonable and stable 5 foot tall. A bright UV and graffiti resistant Safety Yellow paint job (alternatively available in white). A base mounted battery box that will accommodate a Group 24 battery*. This platform, like all of our others is supplied with a K-Band, single directional radar unit, a standard in the industry.
But most importantly, the SpeedBoss™ can display speeds down to 1 MPH! So weather your limit is 4 or 14 or 40 MPH you can use the SpeedBoss™ to tell the driver and Everyone Around Them, how Fast they are going.
The SpeedBoss™ comes complete with automatic ambient light adjustment, flashing number violator alert, low speed display limit, high speed blanking and flashing traffic management arrows (L&R) at no additional charge.
*For economy of shipping a battery is not supplied with this unit. We recommend a deep cycle marine grade Group 24 battery readily available form Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam's Club, etc. It should cost you $60 to $80; because of weight AND shipping regulations we'd have to charge another $200 and that's just unreasonable. Expect 7 to 10 days operation from one battery charge, duty cycle dependent.
